The Scalextric Digital Driver set allows you to race up to four cars at the same time, so you can perform realistic overtaking and braking race manoeuvres which are not possible with standard Scalextric sets. overtaking and braking manoeuvres at the – gone are the days of just two car racing!
The Scalextric Digital Driver set is provided with two ‘Super Resistant’ Mini Cooper cars – perfect to tolerate the racing bumps and scuffs that are inevitable with the exciting Scalextric Digital Driver set. The cars incorporate easy change pickups and make use of the Scalextric Magnatraction system which gives extra traction and road-holding to reduce the likelihood of a spin.
Scalextric Digital Driver Set – Realistic Racing Manoeuvres
The standard track provided with the Scalextric Digital Driver set is an oval and this can be expanded with additional track pieces if required. Each of the Mini Cooper cars contains a digital chip so that the Scalextric driver can choose to switch lanes at the push of a button to block or overtake their opponent. If you wish to race four cars, there is an extensive range of digital cars available from Scalextric, all compatible with the Digital Driver set. If you would prefer to race some of your standard cars through, it is fairly easy to convert them to run on the Scalextric Digital Driver set.
Up to four cars can be raced simultaneously using the standard powerbase provided with the Scalextric Digital Driver set, however you can upgrade to a six car digital powerbase if you’d like to spice up the racing even more!
